Things I learned about Human Development:
1. In the pregnancy stage of the mother, it is healthy to talk/bond with the baby for this establishes early bonds with the child. Also a healthy lifestyle is important to have a healthy newborn.
2. It's a reflex of infants to grasp and suck whatever is within their reach. Preening is a stage in the motor development of a child.
3. Play is a very important part of toddlers, e.g. Play Pretend, Dress-Up. They become curious and try to explore as much as they can.
4. Reading bedtime stories help in the reading comprehension/language learning of the child.
5. Potty training is one of the important things toddlers learn.
6. Teens/Tweens begin to learn the concept of socializing and trying to fit in, where they learn to establish relationships outside the home.
6. Teens/Tweens begin to learn the concept of socializing and trying to fit in, where they learn to establish relationships outside the home.
7. Peer pressure is a major issue in adolescents because of their social radar to fit in and belong.
8. (I think) The difference or the mark between adolescence and young adulthood is when they learn to set long-term goals and try to reach them, e.g. graduating college/getting a degree.
9. There's a new crisis besides the infamous midlife crisis -- now there is also quarter-life crisis.
10. Breaking stereotypes, the elderly can still learn new "tricks" if they are really interested in doing so.
